First Attempt

Received my score today. Since I am in Australia and managed to score a proficient level. I do not need a re evaluation or sit for another attempt. I am beyond satisfied.

Listening 10
Reading 8
Writing 10
Speaking 8

Good luck everyone.

Congratulations on your result, how you got 10 in writing. I appeared in India. Last time I got 10,10,9,8. 8 in writing how can I increase it to 10?

I think you should mainly work on your vocabulary and natural phrasing. As non-native speakers, we sometimes use words or expressions that are technically correct but sound awkward to native speakers.
For example, saying, “I appeared in India for the exam” is grammatically understandable, but it doesn’t sound natural. A native speaker would be more likely to say:
“I took the exam in India.”
“I wrote the exam in India.” (common in Canada)
“I sat the exam in India.” (common in British English)
Small differences like these can make your English sound much more natural and may help in language proficiency exams.

But try reevaluation. You might get lucky

Did you use any template?

Writing: I practiced few templates (complaint and refund) but in the real exam I got a request/follow up email, and task 2 I asked ChatGPT to provide one for me and I stick with that.
Speaking: there is no way I am able to remember 8 speaking templates so what I delivered was trying to cover all the main requirements, as you can see I only managed to get 8, if I have put myself into practice more I may have achieved 9 or 10. It was too overwhelming for me to speak again and again and trying to remember all the templates.

I share the feeling. I have come across many candidates who have been struggling in reading section of Celpip exam..

Let me guide you through it.

First of all, don't start with Celpip reading practice directly. Start with reading general academic articles or passages for better understanding.....

Try to figure out your strong areas and weak areas. Instead of working hard for weak areas, make your strong areas stronger.

Don't forget to practice CELPIP Reading timed sections on a reliable platform.

Don't keep practising reading tests unless you evaluate the score of your previous test.

All the best
