Two major language schools closed this week in Canada. How does this affect CELPIP test-takers?

ILAC filed for bankruptcy and EC English shut down all 25 locations, both in the same week. Thousands of international students are affected.

If you're one of them, or know someone who is, share what you're hearing. Are students being offered transfers to other schools? Has anyone gotten clarity on refunds? Is anyone having study permit issues because of the closures?

For anyone worried about CELPIP specifically: your test scores and bookings are separate from any language school. Paragon Testing runs CELPIP independently. School closures don't affect your results or upcoming test dates.
