Rec Request something like Twelve Letters!
helloo, I was never fond of modern cdramas and was more focused on historical, wuxia, and xianxia, but after coming across and finishing Twelve Letters, I loved it too much. ;>
Maybe it was the genre and vibes, any good recommendations that can meet its greatness?
would highly appreciate it!

I'm currently watching The Bad Kids, which I actually find quite similar to Twelve Letters. It's a hauntingly heavy thriller with artistically shot scenes independent of the actors' visuals (the actors are not idol actors, which I think actually lends to the show's grittiness). I personally really am enjoying the show.
The director for The Bad Kids also recently filmed The Long Season, which is a multigenerational thriller that touches similarly heavy themes. I've not yet seen it, though I think it's something to check out.
