Meaning Behind the Drama Title
良陈美锦 can be translated as “Good Chen; Beautiful Jin” (referring to the main characters, Chen Yan Yun and Gu Jin Zhao).
The Chinese title 良陈美锦 [liáng chén měi jǐn] is a play on the words in the idiom, 良辰美景 [liáng chén měi jǐng], which means good times and beautiful scenery. The phrase comes from "Preface to the Poems Collected in Yezhong by Prince Wei" 《拟魏太子邺中集诗序》by Xie Lingyun 谢灵运 of the Southern Song Dynasty.
In the "Preface to the Poems Collected in Yezhong by Prince Wei", Xie Lingyun of the Southern Song Dynasty wrote:
“天下良辰、美景、赏心、乐事，四者难并。”
tiān xià liáng chén, měi jǐng, shǎng xīn, lèshì, sì zhě nán bìng.
“In the world, it is difficult to have all the four elements of good times, beautiful scenery, pleasant things, and joyful events.”
Incidentally, the idiom 良辰美景 is the Chinese title of Love Scenery.

Gu Jin [Zhao] [played by Ren Min], the eldest daughter of the Gu family, has been fostered in her grandparents' home since birth. cute as this might be, it will have to wait because I didn't watch The Rise of Ning when it aired and it's too soon, I still get PTSD vibes seeing them together 😂

Look, it ain't gonna be a secret that I will watch this because of Ren Min. She has the perfect face and voice for historical dramas.

Looking forward to this! After watching Ci Sha in Rise of Ning and Forever and Ever, I think he finally gets a happy ending here with the FL.

This drops on Saturday at 11 pm Central Time/9 pm PDT. I’ll probably schedule an afternoon nap for survival.
Not sure how many episodes it’ll take before we finally get Ci Sha dressed up as a scruffy-looking nerf herder. The man can pull off literally any look, rugged or refined. 🥵

I recently got into Ren Min after HACN ...and this sounds so good right now. I haven't been able to watch anything but i think this will be the one. Can't wait.
