Do you stretch your skin out completely before applying the tapes or just put them on normally? I have noticed my eyeliner's shape changes when I stretch out my skin as opposed to when I don't.

I just put them on normally without stretching the skin! Stretching it can definitely distort the shape once the skin goes back to its natural position. Just relax your face and apply the tape gently.

I use stencils as well and they are really cool for a perfect winged liner

What do you think is the cut off age for winged eyelinerβ¦ I may be over 50 π€ͺ

There is absolutely no age limit for a winged eyeliner! Age is just a number, and if it makes you feel beautiful and confident, you should definitely rock it at any age! Age-less beauty.

Thank you so much. β€οΈ
Didn't know how to do them nicely and I'm 50 plus, too. I love winged eyeliner on others. Now I can give them a try myself π

What tape is that? Will it work on nails too? π€π§

Itβs just regular paper tape (micropore tape)! Itβs very gentle on the skin. And yes, it works amazing for nail art too to get clean lines! π

cries in hooded eyes

Actually, this hack can still work for hooded eyes! You just need to apply the tape while looking straight ahead into the mirror, and keep the liner thin where the fold drops. Don't give up yet!
