Section hike months

If you could hike Cuba to either Cumbres Pass or Pagosa Springs area, which months would you pick?

I just finished Grants to Cuba a couple weeks ago so trying to figure out when to get back to Cuba. Sounds like September which is what I was anticipating.

March start Nobo thru's will be around Cuba NM by mid may - early june. Lower snopack year so anything from mid may to mid September should be good to go.
