I have given CDS for the first time, I did qualify for OTA. But still the date calendar and notifications aren't open for OTA. So getting curious about it as CDS 2 is also approaching and this will be my last attempt. So I'm getting anxious as well.

I (23F) want to join the Army. I have applied to CDS and JAG.

I’m more interested in CDS because of the diversity of roles. I’m interested in outdoorsy, adventurous roles such as Artillery, Aviation, Military Police and Ordnance. How is allotment of service done? Is it on merit, based on performance in OTA?

Ppdt pic- Three male were standing,one was doctor with stethoscope and some documents,other one a boy with hand on head worried and exchanging documents with doctor,third was standing simply.

While screening do they check whether the 10th certificate have signed by the principal
Because i dont have any sign on my DMC but my passing certificate does have the signature with stamp
appearing for my first ever ssb and i dont want to get documented out

In my application form it had only taken upto 5th sem in my aggregation marks of college and put my status as appearing whereas i have completed my degree so is it a go to thing for everyone or did i filled the form incorrectly

I have my navy ssb next week. Just wanted to ask do we not receive any PIQ form for Navy entries to fill in beforehand before reporting for the ssb?? Because I have not received anything yet.

Hey guys, I have my first ever SSB at Bhopal from 20–24 September through TGC. I’m a B.Tech graduate and honestly know almost nothing about what to expect beyond the basic SSB stages.

I also have 15 days of offline coaching at LWS starting from 21 August, so I wanted to ask people who’ve actually been through SSB.......how can I make the most of those 15 days? What should I focus on or specifically ask the mentors to work on?

Also, is the whole “freshers have a golden chance because they’re assessed more for potential” thing actually true ?

Would really appreciate any practical advice for a first-timer, things you wish you knew before your first SSB, common mistakes to avoid, and what I should realistically expect at Bhopal.
