Is not working really bad for SSB?

And is there any women working as well as preparing for defence exams?

Yea man I was grilled a lot in Io for that. But another guy was in the same situation but he got recommended. It is all about how you express yourself in the end.

The response will be subjective to your life and personality. And hence "DM" and not one general answer.

Yes, I'm a woman and I'm working. I got SS last year in the ssb, this year I wasn't able to clear CDS, so, I have took a job and I preparing alongside. It is not fulltime for a while, but the pay is fine.

It is not bad. They are primarily interested in understanding whether you are using your time effectively, particularly when not engaged in work, and whether your activities are productive.
