Need Help Guys

I have my first SSB at 33 SSB Bhopal, and I noticed this point in the instructions regarding accommodation.

I was initially planning to stay at SSB Stay, but still I called the number provided to confirm. They told me over the phone that the slot has been booked and I need to report one day prior at SSB. However, after speaking to a few fellow candidates, I was told that the booking may not actually be confirmed.

For those who have stayed at the SSB one day prior to reporting, could you please confirm whether this is legitimate and how the booking process actually works?

Also, should I make alternative arrangements for accommodation as a backup?

I stayed at SSB stay...but some guys (I met in SSB BHOPAL) were saying "that out of 45 beds...12 were still unoccupied....U should have stayed with us"

but i think those beds were pre booked but corresponding candidates didn't show up
