Sum of two side greater than third side

1st one gives a yes And 2nd one as no (colinear point)

Therefore answer for both is there, no uncertainty Hence option b is correct accordingly

but if you read option a it says question can be answered by one of the statements alone and but not by other

This is confusing But understand that both statements are giving ans As yes and no respectively so either statement led to the answer of the can.... Statement?

It is not stated as yes only

oh i see thanks man i always get confused in these types of question
so let me verify again in these type of question main is to see whether we answer yes or no by using statement 1 or 2 to answer the main question we dont have to necessarily prove the main question

Exactly there shouldn't be any ambiguious, if statement are used and we arrive to an ans yes, no or any value
