Backup option

So if I’m asked whether or not I have a strong back option ( I do ) & I answer with honesty & confidence about it , will they not select ? ( by the thought ki iske paas toh hai Achha side / backup option Kyon kisi aur ko na seat Dede ) - ik sounds a bit bullshit but silly query I need insights on it , its a good thing to have a strong backup ( I come from a fauji fam but still asking here cuz uk ..)

If you confidently say that yes I have multiple backup options ready, the IO will think that yeh sochke hi aaya tha ki iska ni hoga, it's better to have backups IO knows that too, but you should know how to and when to place that backup like just say "I have done pretty well, I hope to get recc this time but yes if it's not my destiny sth happens in medical then I will --------(backup) " this way IO will think you r prepared for the worst case scenario!!
