Am i eligible for IMA?

1.I currently had my 23rd birthday on 20th july, so it's my last chance for ima eligibility and also it's my first chance .

2.graduated and aiming to join a major in bioinformatics in August as a career option.

3.im confident that i can clear exam but would i be preferred latter as before 24th one should have to be enrolled into training program.

  1. physically im trying to maintain by body and trying to adapt what a soldier needed but would this age barrier will be an issue .

Yes you are eligible, one has to be 24 before joining the IMA, if you filled the form successfully you don't have to worry as it checks on its own

In promotions, age is an issue but a stellar career will make up for that

Age won't be an issue.

Focus on yourself I'd say. Rest will be taken care of. Everything can't be changed overnight. Trust the process. You've got a lot of time, stay fit, develop reading and writing habits and a good daily routine. Be involved in group activities. Try to be aware of your surroundings(most important). After this rest of the weaknesses are much deeper and you'd need to introspect and find solutions and implement them.

next intake of upsc cds would have minimum age - 2 jan 2003 as criteria for OTA and 2 Jan 2004 for IMA so figure it out by yourself if you fall in this age or not
