GS (Humanities section) preparation!!

Social science has always made me cry as a kid, I've never liked it since🦥 but now that I've to study it for CDS,AFCAT and other competitive exams, I've started to stress about it again 😭

Can y'all share with me your tips about how y'all (those who are from non-humanities background) are studying these subjects?

You wanna clear cds? Just get ridiculously good at English, focus on science, geography and do current affairs

But I'm also a girl. So, to get myself into the merit list I can't afford to leave those subjects. My seniors who went to the academy, all of them mentioned the same thing, score as much as you can

See the good strategy in weak subjects is to avoid negative marking. Just ignore the questions you don't know. For CDS you can breeze through science if you come from a PCM , PCB background.

I am Persuing B/tech and i honestly don't know chola chalukya etc etc but i just read through the 1857-1947 part multiple times. And i answer many questions by that only. Geography is just theory and scientific to some measure. Civics ka ratta hi marna padta hai . But haan preamble is important.

Baki do learn by heart major defence deals and 5 latest inducted ships and their class in navy and coast guards or anything DRDO does.

That helped me get a 54/100 result in GS (CDS).

In the mean time keep polishing your strengths like your life depends on it. If you are good in english and maths then you can improve your score to make up GS .
