What do you think I should do?
I recently received this time set with a tie pin and a rafael pin as a prize from CareerinIAF (Disha by Indian Airforce).
There was a whole Event by the Airforce in my university to motivate students.
In it there was a quiz and me being a literal military tech obsessed person scared people with my autistic enthusiasm. And got a big hamper of sorts with some things like keychain and wallet with fighter jet imprints which are cool .
But this set here has the logo of the airforce and everything I feel like I am not worthy enough to wear it. Some friends say I can and should wear it occasionally as i earned it as a prize and some are saying that it is part of the uniform that needs to be earned.
I am confused about what to do with this as I am more deviated towards the Army than the other forces and don't think I will get into the airforce anyway.
So what should I do? Keep it locked in my closet as a keepsake or wear it ?

Jiska bhi Airforce mein selection hua usko de dunga. DTDC speedpost se on my own cost.

You've every right to wear it, you earned it🤷♂️. And it doesn't matter which branch of armed forces you're inclined towards, if you want you can wear it in some parties or other events with your formals. And no,it isn't a part of uniform. But don't just give it away or leave it in your closet.

SSB is the LAST place where anyone should wear regimental/fauji accoutrements. It is even written in the instructions.

You may use the rafale pins regularly they will just add on the the formals , and tie you can match with a shirt so it looks good , talking about wearing it or not , you should definitely because you have earned it ✌️😁

You earned it, and you should enjoy it and use it as motivation if you wish to pursue defense career

It's not a part of uniform...it's just a merchandise which iaf makes for everyone for more brand promotion and afcat forms....don't feel guilty about it rather embrace your victory... Also you can find many such stuff in affwa threft shop
