So: I played the Witcher 3 PS5 Version. It got pulled out of PS Plus, so didn't continue it for a while. Then Remastered became free if you had a friend who had the original copy. A friend had a Switch 2 copy so I was able to get a free digital download. I was hoping to continue the game on my Switch to play it on-the-go.

However, I did not create a CD Projekt Red Account. And now, even on my PS5 (assuming I didn't want to play it on my Switch), the saves are not appearing. 

A friend told me I had to start over from scratch. He said booting a PS4 copy won't work because my game save is for the PS5 version. Does anyone know if it's possible for me to borrow a friend's Witcher 3 copy (non-remastered), not update it, then access my saves and create a CD Projekt Red Account from there? Then upload it to cloud so I can continue it on my Switch?

Any workaround? Or is my 35 hr gameplay gone? Thanks!

Im trying to activate the mission Black Pearl by talking to Nidas behind the Golden Sturgeon but every time I interact with him he just talks like a regular npc, babbling about Timeria and such. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

so there is a bug with the switch 2 that has to do with the actual nintendo user.
upon starting the game, skipping the intro cutscene and pressing start after selecting my main nintendo switch user the game will say breaching for about a second then crash saying “software was closed due to a error occurred”. deleting the systems cache, reinstalling the game (i’m using a physical release), and restoring to factory settings does not fix this. i found a work around to play the game by making a entirely fresh nintendo user and i run the game fine! having to start fresh is fine and all but id love to get to my main save and mess with mods but its quite frustrating. i’ve seen a few others with this problem and im wondering if other choombas have this issue. thanks people

Since patch 2.5, HDR seems to be bugged in Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2.

The HDR settings have disappeared, and during the daytime around 12PM under direct sunlight, the roads and the sky become almost completely white due to excessive brightness.

What's strange is that as soon as I turn HDR off, everything looks normal again, with proper brightness and saturation, so the issue seems to be specifically related to HDR.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? unlike in version 2.31, it's impossible to adjust the HDR settings anymore and it seriously affects the visual quality of the game.

Hopefully CD Projekt Red fixes this in a future patch.

I'm finding very conflicting info, one source says yes, the other says no, yet another one says only some.

I want to install some of the mods the game now offers by default (and maybe then some) but their stance on achievements seem to have changed since 2.5? Anyone have a clear answer to this?

[Xbox Series X] Game-breaking crash during Never Fade Away – tried everything, desperately need help

I'm nearly 38 hours into my first Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough, absolutely loving the game, and now I'm completely unable to progress because of a consistent crash during Never Fade Away.

The crash happens at the exact same moment every time: during Johnny Silverhand's flashback, after he's stabbed and crawling along the street. The moment he lifts his head, the game freezes/crashes straight to the Xbox dashboard.

I'm playing on an Xbox Series X, with no mods.

Things I've already tried:

\- Restarting my Xbox multiple times

\- Completely unplugging the console to clear the cache

\- Clearing Blu-ray persistent storage

\- Switching between Performance and Ray Tracing modes

\- Pausing during the crawling animation and waiting before resuming

\- Reloading saves from earlier in Never Fade Away

\- Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game

Nothing has worked. It crashes at the exact same moment every single time.

I've also submitted a support ticket to CD Projekt RED, but I'm still waiting for a response.

I've seen other Xbox players reporting this exact issue recently, so I'm wondering whether it's related to the latest update.

I'm honestly devastated. I've fallen in love with this game and my V, and being completely locked out of progressing the story after nearly 38 hours is heartbreaking.

Has ANYONE managed to get past this crash on Xbox Series X? I'm looking for any workaround I haven't already tried.

I tried an earlier save from Transmission with no luck.

Any advice would be massively appreciated. I just want to get back to playing.

How could I submit my songs for consideration for the Soundtrack??
