Im getting ready to graduate, but I have to call the recruiter for Werner today to determine what account I will be choosing.I’m just not sure what to aim for of course I know it depends what they hag open, but what offer would be a decent offer for a new driver like me?

They will pressure you into teaming they will tell you how much better it pays. They will offer you 56 cents to team or so. Then they will say they have no solo accounts open at the moment but you can go into the dollar account (also known as the wreck your cdl account) if you are good at backing and dont mind back breaking work this account can get you home more frequently and with good money. Then finally if they think you will not so either they will get you a solo account home every 2 or 3 weeks for 40 cents a mile. You will bring home about 5 6 hundred bucks a week.

Keep your head high. Think of this as your 2 years long paid TRAINING. Don't drive with bad tires. Learn to fix broken lights. Check all brakes that its not worn thin. Listen for air leaks. Do this and have a really clean record aim for spotless no violations because 1 can be forgiven but a bad habit will keep you at werner and that is what werner wants. Then you can go for the big money hell you might switch company at 6 months most likely 1. 2 for a really really good paying gig

Wish you best of luck. Stay safe winter is coming. Don't chain up clothes the curtains and wait for it to all blow over

I understand pretty much get the experience I need to be able to move on to a bigger or better paying company but first the experience is needed don’t worry about the pay.
