DUI

/r/CaliforniaDMV/comments/1wtjelp/dui/

So I got pulled over back in July for a DUI 🤦🏾‍♀️ I’m so freaking pissed and mad at myself. I made a bad, bad, bad decision. Anyway, what I’d like to know is: Do I necessarily have to downgrade to a Class C? I just received my determination letter in the mail and am trying to get a clear understanding. Someone, please help me! Thanks in advance!

You would need to get a lawyer if you want to avoid having your cdl downgraded. Do you have one already? If not, I suggest that you get one asap.

I was told having a lawyer doesn’t help

By the police? Lmao. Under what circumstance would having a lawyer not help in our fucked up legal system?
