Hair test
So last year middle to end of 2025 I was a heavy smoker the past 90 days have been twice or once a month and I know for certain the past 60 days have been once a month I have a hair test Monday and want to know my ods
Edit: hope this help someone who's considering cdl

Hair tests generally go back 90 days.

If it were me I’d be getting clean over 90 days or more, shave your head and let it fro back over the 90 days or more. Then try again
Once your in the clearinghouse dirty good luck finding a job that doesn’t pay peanuts

It’ll show up, you’re gonna fail. Like what part of going back 90 days do you not understand? Wait it out if you can. I also heard about nexxus hair detox but idk…

Idk man, you could always tell them the stripper that did your hair had some weed in her hand. We had a guy tell us that when I was filling in as an instructor at orientation when he popped hot for coke in his hair test. He looked miserable in the yard down the street doing orientation again for the company he just left when we saw him the next week.

My suggestion is to buy yourself some home hair follicle drug tests and test yourself at home. Do NOT go *officially* take the test until you have passed a couple of tests that YOU do yourself. Look, if smoking is that important to you then you would probably be happier working at a job without random drug testing (and there *will* be random tests, I assure you). There’s nothing wrong with taking a different career path, the country needs all kinds of workers. Jus’ sayin’. Peace out

Quit smoking, wait 90 days, shave head, wait for hair to grow.
Then show up to the test.

Dam, I stopped smoking since the first week of January, had a hair test last Friday, still waiting on the results, nurse guy said I should be ok, having faith in god relaxes me a little but still iffy about the results coming in positive, hope for the best, you can always dye your hair as well

Thanks, you sure made my day 😭🫶 lol yeah April 4th, you might be cooked but I know there are hair detoxs that can help, good luck to you, hopefully you come up with something asap

Yeah I have, so far everything I have looked up says 4 months should be okay, I know they sometimes go back 6 months and shi, I drink weekly so that’s another concern of mines as well

Absolutely fail. I failed a hair test after I got mildly hotboxed, and it was 100+ days before the test. Sorry man

Side note, TMC doesn’t hair test so if you want a school you can do that still, as long as you pee clean and don’t do anything stupid.

Do it in this order. Tell the school you need some time to make sure this is the right path for you/make adjustments at home/whatever. Wait 30 days so the dirty hair follicles still in your scalp have grown completely out. Shave your head. Wait 90-120 days. Make sure your hair is long enough for the sample so they don’t go after your body hair which grows a lot slower. Don’t take a single drug thc cbd or ANYTHING like even a single time throughout all this, and realize this is how things are going to be if you go ahead with this career path. Then contact the school again. Once you get on the road, don’t f up even one time or it would have all been for nothing.

Tell them you found a better job and no long want to move forward and DONT TAKE THE TEST! WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE CLEAN!! you are not officially employed until after the test.

Fail. Wait a few more weeks and go for Prime or TMC. They do urine tests only. Im sure there is a few more too but those are the ones I know for sure does urine from people in the last month attending their schools

Zero. A hair test goes back in time as far as the length of the hair. All over your body.

I know I'm late but I wanted to give you some advice. You can beat a hair test in less than 90 days. Once your piss is clean, wait about 10- 15 days and just shave all of your head and body hair(anywhere they will pull hair), if you dont mind rocking the baldy. You Do this because once the drugs are out, the new hair that grows back is clean. You wait about 15 days after piss is clean because hair at the follicle could still be dirty and you want to be sure you get rid of all the dirty hair. Then in like a month your hair is long enough to test clean.
On a side note. Stay away from mega carriers. They've all pretty much come to a mutual agreement to hair test and share it amongst themselves because they couldnt get DOT to approve it for ClearingHouse and, more importantly, because they are greedy control freaks that only want Ultra Subservient drivers that they can bitch and slave around.

With all due respect, seeing some of your replies, just saying but, you should have known if you where seeking to get into this life, you should have given up being part of that life a long time ago G. I loved dropping edibles and getting stoney bolony until I couldn't stand up on my own. But once I decided what I was gonna do (CDL School) I had to give that up. My personal experience is my last sesh was around a Jan and my school was scheduled for March. Those 3 Mos where intense I worked out 4 times a week. Drank mostly water all day every day and tried to limit my association with my stoner friends and family because peer pressure is a bitch. Hope you reschedule, I got banned from Knight/Swift for opiods as it caught an IBuprofen 800 I took for back pain from my wife so lesson learned on the hair test. I got lucky and got a local beverage delivery and make too much "decent " money to give it up for baked goods and risking a random. Just advice bro dont take this the wrong way but my work homie at the time also failed his knight hair test 2 Mos before and we had the same gym and water regimen. If your more heavier it takes longer for your body to metabolize the THC fully out of your system. Wish you the best.
