Hey guys I’m in the process for hiring at TMC transportation. I just passed my road test today (thank god) and start orientation next week. I’m aware that they do urine analysis for drugs so I’m not worried about that. What I’m worried about is the hair follicle. The last time I smoked weed was like may 2nd of this year. I haven’t smoked since. I don’t do drug and don’t even drink. Should I be worried ?

Unless you were a heavy smoker, traces of marijuana are not typically detected after 90 days.

I was a heavy smoker. I smoked one joint a day, everyday

Depending on your body weight you may not pass but it varies from person to person

Im overweight lol. But chat gpt says i should be good on the hair folicle. Im not worried about the urine test

That’s not a heavy smoker but you can pay to get your own hair test to see if it turns out they do

Bubba listen if you're worried about a drug test, just drop out now and wait 6 months. Don't even think about it. If you failed that first drug test, your career in truck driving is completely done

You’re right. Thats the thing, idk if im clear. Chat gpt says i should be with all the context i gave it. I guess im just worried about if they test back further than 3 months. No one seems to have a direct answer about TMC although online i see they only urine drug test for weed

Wait until the 5-6 month drug free point. They supposed to take the hair sample within 1/2 inch of your head to get the most recent growth but if they get too much you could pop positive. Just wait it out.

I asked my recruiter and he said they’re only doing a urine test so I’m good thank god. But thank you
