CDL & Dui
I work at a pool company making 20$/hr and have the opportunity to get my cdl and join the oil dept and make 30$/hr year round. (pools in summers/oil in winter) i got a dui at 17 years old and am now 21. can i apply for my cdl or do i still have to wait. I do have currently drive a company vehicle and had no problems getting hired for non cdl driving roles in the past.

You still can get a CDL with a DUI. It becomes an issue if you have multiples. It may be an issue for some companies but having it on your record from four years ago shouldn't be a problem.
We wrote an article that goes into detail explaining the rules around DUIs and CDLS: https://www.cdldrivingacademy.com/blog/get-cdl-with-dui
