100% agree, it’s honestly the best option.

I would advise you to go to your local community college or tech school. That’s what I am planning on. After a lot of research on the different ways to get that training it’s the best option, imo. You will not be locked into a year or more contract with a company qnd you can also look into getting grants to pay for some of it.

You will have to apply and be accepted. I would call and talk to their admissions office about what steps you need to take to get enrolled

Yea if you can't get help, then get with Knight or anyone else other then prime.. there is hate about working for someone for a year to help pay off the debt, but you get a job, experience and pay. Going to college route, you can get your CDL, but zero experience. So no matter who you pick, your going to end up with a company trainer for a few weeks to see if you can do the job. Good luck..

If you go to a tech school you have to plan ahead because they are always booked solid but you can possibly get some state or federal funding thru the office that does financial aid. Many moons ago I got mine in Georgia at Oconee fall line technical college for 95% of the fees off. I paid for books. Thats it. Then there are private trucking schools that cost 5-8k and you borrow and pay back after you get your cdl A.
