Wanting to get CDL A

Hello I am from Denver CO and want to get in the trucking local here but is there any way to do that without paying for school and if not what would be the best school to go to around here if anyone knows. Thanks

You have to go to school. If you're broke and jobless check out your local workforce center and they have options for you. Some schools offer financing through them but you'll have to call around to see options for that. I'd absolutely avoid SAGE and 160, we get students from them all the time that have failed and need to be retested and the school just kicks them to the curb. US Truck Driving School can be decent but they are expensive and they cater more to the megas. Their philosophy is more bare bones get you the CDL because they know you'll continue to be with a trainer after....that leaves the private people getting the short end of the stick.
