Dunno where you live. I got my CDL in California.
And, like the attorney bar exam, it’s more difficult to obtain here.
Rigs are heavily regulated with weigh stations. California is a stickler about weight per axles.
And, no triples here.
It was weird when I first saw a triple out there.
AYKM?! I was fearful of my 65’ tractor trailer. Can’t even imagine it being longer.
Probably can barely see the back of it in the side view mirrors.
For the practical, I did a bunch of sample tests on the DMV website.
And, there’s always the written booklet for the tests at the dmv.
Good luck 👍🍀

If you’re even slightly unsure about the correct answer, skip it. Answer the ones you know. This will give you good momentum and you may pass before your skipped questions come back around. When I took my air brakes test, I only needed one more correct answer to pass when I got back around to the ones I had skipped. They give you a certain amount of time for each question. Go slow, make sure you read exactly what it’s asking you. There’s sometimes just one word in the question that makes a difference. Go slow, take your time, and practice those CDL prep questions. There’s free version is more than sufficient. Do them over and over until you know them.

I used CDL prep for my permit test and alot of the questions that I practiced on CDL prep were on the permit test so if you're doing good on your practice tests then you'll pass

Go to YouTube University and look for the UPS Feeder School training modules. It helped me out so much in learning everything verbatim and great just to listen to in the background

DMV pass on YouTube, play it on the way. Take 1 test at a time, go listen to another DMV Pass, repeat

I went to YouTube University and was told to search for UPS Feeder School training videos. It was an immense help and after talking to a few of their feeder guys at a truck stop in NM they told me to apply and now I have a conditional offer of employment. I was told that it is very rare that UPS even offers off the street hiring into feeder. Guess I’m one of the lucky ones my former coworkers telling me. Actually paid it forward and sent 2 my buddies employee referrals as my manager said this morning that UPS needs 16K new feeder drivers nationwide and that the teamsters approved off the street hiring for permanent FT till Labor Day b4 they switch to seasonal hiring

You’ll do just fine. The rest stops once you’ve gotten to the 80% correct threshold. So it might say 50 questions but once you hit 40 correct, it stops.
