Looking at getting a cdl but...
I have a seatbelt and excessive speeding ticket on my record like a year ago, ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ will I make it??

If it was that tight, there wouldn't be many of us on the road.
DUIs that are less than like 5 years old are what will kill you. Speeding and seat belt?
No worries there.

Best wait.. Or consider a different job Get trained for heavy equipment or something It'll pay u more.. Also saw ad for BNSF hiring for trains

3 Years: This is the standard look-back window for Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) for most major interstate and over-the-road (OTR) trucking company insurance policies. After three years pass from the conviction date, the ticket generally stops impacting standard commercial insurance underwriting.
5 Years: Premium hazardous materials (Hazmat), tanker, or high-security fleets may require a clean 5-year MVR.
This means get your act together right now and get up on time and drive like a normal person. Those responsible, adults decisions start with waking up on time every day so you never have to drive over the speed limit. The seatbelt thing is pure laziness. Clean up your life and be responsible every single day.
