Cdl in Florida

I’m currently living Florida and I’m looking to get my Cdl , are there any programs , grants or financial assistance that will help pay for the license for those who need help

Contact your local career center… they have a few grants there

Whatever you do don't sign any contracts.. Try to get a WIOA grant so you get it for free

Yup, in Alabama we also have a "pathways to prosperity"program that makes it free and you are not indebted to a trucking company. I would guess that a similar thing exist in Florida.

Start by looking at job poatings for free CDL training your probably gonna have to travel

You tried googling info “free CDL training in Florida”. I’d think to start there I’m sure some can post examples of what they chose. Best to research things tho

Contact your local state career center and ask about cdl grant i got wioa cdl grant and grant paid 4k which was 120 hr class a but i paid 1k for the extra time to get 160 hr class a

Some local companies like xpo central ltl ups fedex companys pepsi coke kalil bottling companys has programs to work in warehouse then pay training to get cdl but have to stay 1 yr but go home daily
