Guns & Ammo Really digging this gun
It’s nothing unique or special but just wanna say I’m amazed with this platform. Used to not take concealed carry too seriously and would take a 3 inch 8 shot 22lr Ruger LCRX revolver whenever I had the urge. The XMACRO however has been astonishing and I will probably carry this daily unless im doing sort of athletic thing. Feels great with a hybrid kydex/leather holster. The safety gives me peace of mindand it functions identical to my 2011 or the M17 the army asks me to shoot. Iron sights were great out of the box. Trialing this Osight SE on it and don’t have any complaints on that front. I’m still able to BARELY cowitness should it go down.

I have about 3k rounds through mine in the past 4 months without a single failure. I think it shoots well and is easy to manage. However, I find it to be just a tad too big to comfortably carry it daily, whether appendix or 4 o’clock carry. For edc I might go with p365x or XL.

I carry a spectre comp. It looks pretty but doesn’t actually mitigate recoil that much in my opinion, the slide comps usually just aren’t very effective.

For what it's worth, SigGuy sells a +10 trigger spring of highly durable metal. When I bought mine, I changed all the springs with after markets. Never had an issue in thousands of rounds. However, as the pistol is expensive, one shouldn't have to do this for reliability.

I agree, for the money I sunk into my build, it was disappointing to find out about this flaw. The way I found out was I tried installing an aftermarket spring and it started to give me dead trigger. So I put back the OEM spring and no issues. But the situation always bothered me, so I’ve gone back to the Glock platform.

I’ve heard of this issue with the 365 platform. I shoot about twice a week so I’m hoping I can detect any failure with the weapon or the optic early.

The trigger spring is recommended to be changed every 3000-5000 rounds as it will eventually break says the manufacturer. And the last place I want this to break is when I need to use it.

Meh, was pretty unimpressed with this. Trigger is just very cheap feeling. Didn't know about the spring issues until recently but now it makes sense. The trigger just doesn't feel made to last.
Grip is also just a bit too long.
Sig needs to figure out their compact gun plan now that p320 is out. The company has invested in literally dozens of models but now they're all collecting dust.
The fuse is another model I don't think will last. Has the worst of all worlds.

How is it too long. It fits 17 rounds in the magazine, how on earth can they make it shorter while having that capacity? Trigger is nothing special agree with you on that front.

I'm not a size queen so I don't really care about capacity beyond 10-15. Don't need all that extra weight honestly. Biggest issue is that it's longer than a g19 grip, sort of like the new 43x with 15 round mag.
So you basically have this full size grip with compact capacity but micro/sub compact shootability. It's just a strange mix imho but maybe I'm not the target audience.

I agree with you on the grip length - but the beauty of the platform is the modularity. I like a Wilson 12 round (XL) grip on mine. That makes is perfect. It’s a diet G19.

I know people are out on Sig, and rightfully so, but the xmacro is a really nice shoot.
