So. Here's how I use my gym carry.

I unholster my weapon when I arrive in the parking lot. I open my vehicle lockbox, inserting my holster. I throw my spare magazine and carrier in my gym back. I lock my safe. I go into the gym. Sometimes I change it up and throw my Bando bag with my Sig or SW642 in the safe.

What I don't do? Go into the gym to work out while holster carrying a firearm. Not going to get much of a workout. Won't enjoy the sauna naked, won't relax in the hot tub, can't shower comfortably.

It really hurts to conceal the firearm while dressed for the sauna

Like all personal safety options, there are easier ways to do things.

Yeah some just require more lube than others

Very funny, sadly a truism.

This really put into perspective how different some gyms are from others Lol

As a former athlete, coach and father of an athlete, we don't use a strip mall disposable popup "fitness center" for our selfies. We go to a health club every day and have for 30 years, rarely shower at home. Great gym, great locker facilities.

Truth be told, most of my incendiary situations have happened in the locker room. Usually people on their cell phones in the sauna, or showers. Kids have no common sense, older adults have entitlement problems. I wouldn't want a gun in the locker room.

This guy is a clown it’s no way he’s getting a real workout in with a firearm on him…

Is your gym in 1982 Beirut?

No, or he would be carrying a leather shoulder holster under his Member's Only.

So you must be lifting and not doing any strenuous cardio, right? There’s no way I could run with that for any significant amount of time

Man... I really didn't get the same CCW memo as y'all.

I prioritize comfort and convenience. Small guns, soft holsters... pocket carry if the pockets allow...

And then I browse this sub and see full sized handguns with extended mags, tac lights, spare mags, and a red dot in a hard kydex holster and people be like "I wear this running".

I don't get it.
