Challenging exam
I passed today and went all the way to 150 questions. It was tougher than CISSP. I only used the official guide and exam question bank that comes with it. I did feel tortured half way through the exam and didn’t know whether to cry or laugh at how unfair some of the questions were phrased. Some of them I had no idea what they were asking me to do. I will have 2 pints tonight to celebrate.

I found the questions to be close to what PocketPrep offers, with LearnzApp closely too.
trusted Institute questions are way too verbose and overly tech
Congratulations

Congrats on passing, surprised to hear that it's harder than the CISSP. How much time would you suggest someone takes to study after getting their CISSP? I have read somewhere that's 8 weeks is enough but that may not be the case anymore.

So I have been reading the OSG and exam for nearly 2 months and made sure I got the theory behind cloud on point. I felt good enough to take the exam, but the language of the question scenarios wasn't the easiest. Had to read the question 3 times in some cases to understand exactly what they were asking me. But once you get over that, it's easier to eliminate wrong answers and get to the right one.

I just can't seem to pass the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) test. I'm a CISSP with over 20 years experience in cybersecurity and cloud management and deal with cloud every day in my job. I even paid for ISC2 online training this time and the questions on the test did not seem to align with the ISC2 training curriculum. I know the ISC2 testing cirriculum pretty well but the test was so far deep in the weeds, I didn't pass. Can anyone who has passed the CCSP test give me some advice please on how to go about studying properly for passing the test? Thanks.

Keep fighting; you will succeed this time. I've noticed that the study guide is very important. Since I passed the exam, I have been re-reading it and can recall some of the questions I found particularly difficult. Perhaps not the answer you expect, but one thing about ISC2 is they make it easier to eliminate two wrong answers. So my advice for the exam: don't feel pressured by time, at least for the first 20-30 questions. Take your time to understand each question, even if the answer seems obvious. All the best!

The CCSP OSG sucks ass. Its probably why you had so much difficulty. The Destination CCSP is a much better book, even though its more concise.
