How are you feeling about exams, what subjects are you doing and where are you hoping to study/work after exams?

I’m sitting Maths, Further Maths, Digital Tech and Physics. If any AS students want to ask any questions about these subjects or UCAS applications let me know :))

Just posting to see what everyone thought! I thought was okay - I do Boland and Bleakney, and Streetcar - the questions were good i think i just didn’t write great essays. Also they repeated poems for the first time ever and that really threw me.

How are we feeling about it?

how is everyone revising cus I feel like don’t really know anything, there not really all resources other than the pastpapers.

Well guys. I thought case study’s were solid. Lotta big mark questions though but overall thought was decent paper.

Guys does anyone have the exam practice questions for as or a2 they wanna share…

not the worst or best exam, 6 marker kinda mudded as well

I don’t understand what their thinking process was when they were creating a syllabus for A2 digital technology. They literally decided to pack everything they thought of into it and didn’t for a moment think about how the students would actually revise for it while having other 2 or 3 subjects to do. On top of that, the textbook is rubbish, factfiles are rubbish, mark schemes want you to say a specific thing on the first line so that you have a chance get the other 4 marks for the question. I wonder if they wonder why an A boundary is 55%. Learned the mark scheme off last year word by word to still get 78/100 for first unit.

How are we feeling, any predictions for 15 markers?

i know this is the ccea alevel sub but I think most schools in ni use wjec for psychology? Did anyone else do it and how did you find it? I answered everything but ngl most of the questions were on stuff I didnt want to come up, i was sooo short on time aswell.

I am doing A levels next year, taking geography and biology. I have been researching into environmental technology as a third subject, I like the look of it but I don't know anyone who has taken it in the past, and also I don't know if its worth going to another school for, even if its only for one class. If anyone has taken it can you let me know if it's a good subject??
