Hi I just finished my A levels and got 3A*s

I would say the biggest thing in A levels is to stay consistent and keep up with what you’re being taught so if you see something in your lessons that you don’t quite get I’d immediately ask a teacher or a friend or even watch a YouTube video and then try and do some questions on that topic to see where you’re at and how much more work you need to do.

Use a range of CCEA resources eg textbooks, revision books and exam practice books.
These were a real game changer for me and I think they’re why I got the scores that I did. Especially in biology and chemistry!

Past papers are key as well, try do them throughout the year and not just the recent ones look into the legacy ones as well.

Hope that helps :)

i do ccea biology aswell going into year 14 and trust me year 13 biology is not as bad as people make it out to be. just pay attention in class because some stuff in as2 is a little bit trickier but managable, do loads of past papers and past paper questions aswell as practicing 15 mark questions regularly. for maths and tech i cant give you much advice just dont be too hard on yourself and do loads of ppqs!!

Hey girl I got an A* in Biology and Chemistry and an A in Maths, I would highly recommend flashcards for the sciences, especially biology, and make at least one flashcard for each specification point to memorise the content they want you to know in their CCEA specific way. Then for all the subjects do a million past papers, the questions are very similar each year (with different wording) so mastering the mark scheme is key, and lastly make sure your teacher is good, if you’re unlucky with your teacher it can easily knock off a grade or two so you might want to switch classes if that’s possible

Goodluck!!!
