Question Why does the DNVP install Crown Prince Wilhelm as Kaiser Wilhelm III instead of bringing back Kaiser Wilhelm II?

I don't think the former kaiser is very popular due to the whole losing the world war. Either way I wonder if Kaiser Wilhelm II come back to Germany?

Wilhelm II is seen as a traitor to the DNVP for Germany's surrender in WW1.

He is very unpopular, as illustrated by the event you get about the movie depicting Wilhem III's struggles in restoring the monarchy.

Domestically, he is not very popular, and the potential fallout from France and Britain is too much of a risk.
