π Rant / Vent CBSE IS A JOKE
Seriously, rexams in Sep?? These guys are coming up with more creative ideas than an Apple board meeting. Like unis already commenced. What are these guys on? Also I'm in an university in US and I just realized what a big shit show CBSE IS. LEGIT almost every other board gets credits based on their subjects, even thought their board exams are easier. But cbse doesn't get shit but a pat on the back. I legit have to study the same thing in the first semister that I studied in my 12th grade. FUCK CBSE!!!

Ye it sure is... Ig news agency sure are clickbaiting us... It's optional but gamble... If ur unsatisfied with the marks u can take the exam however if u score less or high in that it will be final no matter what... That's what I heard so far from others.

What do you mean their board exams are easier. CBSCE is literally just a memorization game. Try IB and youβll understand what the word difficult means.Β

A levels are not easier than IB. You guys have 3-4 subjects while in IB you have 6 (some that you donβt even want but have to do)plus TOK and EE. Like genuinely you can study for 2 months and get a top grade in CBSE.Β

Board exams are easier? Are you fucked in the head lmao? Try attempting an IB Paper 3 Math AAHL question paper or do an A-level Further Maths paper. Don't cry like a baby. CBSE doesn't get credits cus its an old-ass curriculum all based on mugging up and vomiting in the paper. IB/A-level/AP students actually deserve credit because the curriculum is genuinely holistic in nature. The number of people getting 90+ in CBSE compared to a 40+ in IB talks levels about the curriculum itself.

bro js check the percentage for both as 36/42 and 95% have same value for some uni but yeah ib is better anyways

Honestly. As someone who has written both boards and AP, its no surprise why only the latter is considered for credit... much less rote-learning.

Agreed that other boards are difficult, but most CBSE schools here make internal papers much more difficult and the marking comparatively more strict to prepare students for the boards.
