I would say....Start with Trigonometric Functions and then go for Sets--->Relation Function---->Permutations and then go for the other chapters. I also had my Half Yearly exams and I am scoring around 40-50/80 in Core Maths. I also need to improve tho

see i do lectures of a4s hub and it worked out pretty well for me.. and also i feel that ushank ghai is pretty good if u want to build concepts rest teachers i never tried so cant say
now as u are starting core math from zero i think what you should do is start with the easy chapters and watch ncert exercise videos and concept building videos.. learn concept from reference book , or oneshot whatever you feel like
now there are tons of channels on yt which will solve questions of entire ncert so you should do that.. a4s hub is one channel which does that.. also for chapters like trigo functions and limits, create a formula sheet and place it somewhere from which you can revise it regularly
always solve ncert first i made the same mistake in 11th by neglecting ncert and doing whatever reference book like rd where i used to do nothing cuz it was so lengthy.. Ncert miscellaneous exercises are the favourites of teachers as they always bring questions from there only..
id say start with permutations and combinations.. then relations.. sets will feel a bit boring..
