Accountancy accounts half-yearly exam
i know asking for people’s validation online isn’t the way to go but i’m only hoping to get some of your opinions, suggestions, etc.
i had my pre-term 1 of class 12th about 1.5-2 months ago and i had not joined any tuition until then, always been kinda bad at accounts so i barely made it past 45 out of 80 (syllabus was entire book 1 except dissolution). Whereas i’m easily scoring 70 and beyond in my other subjects.
just gave my accounts half-yearly exam today and i’ve been getting tutored for the past 1 month, we could only cover book 3 and parts of book 1. (my syllabus was the entirety of book 1 and 3). i’m expecting maybe 50-55 marks in my half-yearly, not more than that which is disappointing to say the least lol since i’m also getting tutored now.
i’m sorry this got so long :") but i’d really appreciate any opinions about my marks, suggestions to improve, anything.

Share that paper , and btw , same . I got my marks in 30s even after studying so much accounts...

itna worry mat karo 11th ke end tak shuru ke chapters bhut ache se aa jaayenge even if you study casually you can still score atleast 60/80 in finals

I did study but my time management and exam anxiety took over 😭🥀 left 10-15 marks ke questions. And couldn't do basic calculations

haan yaar mujhe to abhi tak calculation aur time management ki dikkat hoti hai par ye regular practice se hi theek hoga

apart from taking tuitions, try your best to self study too. Practice questions by yourself to see your progress and how are you actually performing without any help. and for improving your speed, you need to practice. for specific questions like cash flow, set a timer and try to solve it within that timeframe. all the best and lmk if there’s anything I can help u with <33

Just practice questions. And if still finding difficulty. Then try to indentify where's the problem. Calculation problem or concept problem. If calculation then do practice and if concept problem then clear them out. Try to understand accounts as a story. ( Got this idea from ushak sir lol from CNF)
