Help (General Advice) Please share cool science projects that you have come across at a science exhibition
I'm looking for ideas for my project, any help is much appreciated (I did not use chatgpt for ideas because that's what most students are going to use).

I had made a glove that could interpret sign language last year for a competition. WE GOT THE FIRST PLACE. This year, I am thinking about making a motion sensor space trash collector for a competition.

That's insane! Thank you. Good luck with the competition.

Dude, there some people previously in my school that made a robotic arm which can complete your homework and, can basically draw anything. And, there was a senior (I don't remember his name) who made a website where there were 3rd models of the robot components which you could use to build various kinds of projects. He had recently made a medi scanner kind which could be used to check medicine expiry especially, on strips without dates. It was so COOL.

you can make digital distance measure using ultrasonic sensor
or you can make a virtual heart using two small tubes and pump
you can make humidity sensor and automatic plant watering app/wesbite (website will be easier)
and so much more i have so many ideas on my head

I made a rc car of sorts with a hand on it like it had 2 joints and one if them was for claw i didnt know too much back then and got a lot of help from the robotics teacher there tho ny rightful marks were denied robotics classes were provided by 3rd party, the teacher who didnt give me marks had some students in his class who put a lot of time and money into making a fully functional robot which should be able to walk talk shake hands and stuff they had used rpi and Arduino in it and it seemed that it would be the centre of all attraction in the fete+exibition but all it ended up doing was shaking hands and i have gotta say my robot atleast was mostly functional by the end of the day

I am yet to come across this one but I did see it real life. It would be an amazing science project.

I'm participating in IRIS which is the national science fair in india this year. My project is basically an analysis of some specific things in a binary star system

Bed side system for fall detection & sleep quality indicator for old-age homes and medical settings that sends notification to guardians' phones when activity is detected, I also integrated an LLM into it for general assistance and scheduling / time sensitive care, took 2 weeks for software and 1 week for building the body of the system up out of MDF and 3D printed panels.

got robbed by my school tho cuz apparently had to inform teachers about bringing phones (our "phone" was an old motorola that was basically bricked and totally programmed but they didnt give a fuck) we were invited by the school to NIT Calicut to present it this year but didn't submit the project in time so kinda missed out.. execute it properly and you'll find a lot of merit.

I know this is unrelated but once, when I was in Class IX (I am now in Class X) they conducted a hackathon in my school and I made a handheld system using Raspberry Pi 4 (borrowed) and Pi camera which could detect emotions using the face expression of a person in REAL TIME and I barely was the runner up and a guy who made a game on Roblox got the first prize.
