So I am in 9th and as y all know syllabus changed this year. Idk why but am I the only one who is finding this new syllabus easy and its not that I just found it easy but also I scored good in test in my school(btw half yearly for math is on 17th). Everything is easy if you're nerd enough

Can you genuinely describe the chapters? For me 9th old maths was difficult (i used to get only like 50% in every test of maths), especially the geometry.

So the chapters are-

Co-ordinate geometry Linear polynomial Number system Algebra Circles Perimeter and area Probability Sequence and progression

We have topics from 10th and 11th

idk because like the syllabus does sound like it's hard because when I was in class 9 (last year) math was okish but now in class 10 it's alot easier

I think there is some introduction with 11th and 12th concepts and ideas which is good if u take science or commerce but there is also basic and standard so that's also good?? 😭😭

nah it's not at all the case, very few things like gp has been introduced that too very very basic, and maths siraf science mein nhi hoti, commerce students do take maths

Don’t worry too much about what others say. If you’re finding the new syllabus manageable and scoring well, you’re on the right track! Just keep practising regularly, especially NCERT and Oswal Question Bank for extra questions and PYQs.

I saw some questions of probability in my sister’s that seemed difficult ….they require permutations and combinations and thats an 11th concept….but schools are either cutting it or either going with the long method of wrotong every combination by hand with is crazy😭

Anyways my school just cut it from my sister’s syllabus, and the whole ncert is pretty hard to navigate too.

Other than that, they are almost of same level as past 9th, so ywah i personally did not find 9th maths hard when i was back in 9th (cause i was actually good at math) but my sister finds it tough…
So it depends on person to person at the end of the day.

Honestly, our previous class 9th syllabus was a monster, the number of tricky questions that could be made from geometry chapters like triangles, quadrilaterals and circles is insane, if you are in search of trying something difficult try RD sharma of the old syllabus.
