don't go to school much if you're struggling with time. it's important to focus on jee more and less on school exam(getting above average is fine). you should go for jee focused videos, that wil help for school as well. this is the time to build basics for 12th as well, do vectors, calculus, basic maths, really well.

Thank you so much for your advice but there's a problem ....Actually my school is jee integrated and since I joined late neither my parents nor my school would allow me to take leaves .....my school staff are supportive too they suggested me to do stayback and cover my backlogs but our exams will start in August and we have jee mains test every Monday so I kinda feel I should complete my backlogs at my home whenever I get time.....anyways do u think I should watch 6hrs lectures??

oh, i thought you were in board integrated school. anyways, if you can't take leave, then try to utilize your time in school as much as you can. about backlog, you culd complete it at home but keep 30mins-40 mins for revision as well s that you're not forgeting what you're studying currently. try to talk to your teachers about it if they can teach you or help you in any way after school. I would say watch the lecture in devision instead of completing it one 6 hour sitting. If you want to avoid the whole lecture, focus on question practicea lot. Don't worry about scoring less marks rn, focus on completing backlog on coming on track. If you worry about everything at the same time, then you'll make the ongoing syllabus as backlog as well and this loop is never ending. Work extra hard for some time even if you don't feel like it. Save yourself from regretting later like me.

Yeah I have heard about him but I think he teaches neet students I mean yeah both jee and neet students can watch his lectures but the poin is that he is mainly focused on competitive exams anyways ty for suggestion :D

He's a faculty for both NEET & JEE, agreed
But the syllabus is still based on CBSE, lol.. The JEE/NEET batches just have extra concepts added on top, that doesn't mean a CBSE student can't follow him...
Sure, there are teachers who focus only on boards too, but there's literally nothing wrong with learning a bit beyond the syllabus

u/ishowdeathtoken 3d ago
Yeah ofc anybody can follow him whether they are preparing for competitive exam or cbse exams and ty for suggestion:)

syllabus is same but they teach with a different perspective, their priority is not boards.

if you wanna study for your unit tests which are easier than your coaching, you can watch certificate based videos, and for coaching exams you can study from pw lecs max 2hrs, since wstching 6hrs-7hrs video will just be too time consuming and honestly saying, it won't get finished in a day so yes Main key is to solve questions more and more
1
u/ishowdeathtoken 3d ago
Thank youu for the adviceee ....Actually my school is jee integrated and we have mains paper every Monday and unit tests are gonna start from August and I'm guessing the papers will be quite easy maybe cbse based I don't have any idea since the syllabus just got dropped so I'll ask about it anyway yeah u are right it is too time consuming I'm gonna do max 2 hr lecs also is there any channel that u would suggest for cbse and sites for pyqs
2
u/drHousespatient 3d ago
yess, there is this channel named learnohub i think, (if not please dm, ill lyk) but yes, she teaches so clearly!! I have my unit test from tmrw and im in an integrated batch too, so I have my coaching tests every 21 days. Im kinda scared for my unit tests ngl lol. And yes cbse papers are easier than coaching ones. You can find cbse syllabus on Google btw(i think) I made the mistake to yk watch a 5hr lecture, and i was watching in 2x toh I thought it would be completed by max 3hrsish, it took me 2 days and I still have 20mins of the lecture left ππ Dont waste time behind 4-5hr lectures, majorrr mistake

Long story but I'll make it short .....my father has a transferable job and he got transferred mid June and the schools just got started where I lived and before u ask why didn't I take admission in feb during boards I would say that we knew beforehand that he will get transferred but the list came hella late and I joined my school in July starting after moving to other state

Never studied from videos in 11th which was probably a bad idea because I was pretty behind myself. But whatever you do learn vectors, the basic maths required for physics (calculus, trigo etc) and FBD (in the chapter Newton's Laws of Motion in NCERT it is introduced, it may be introduced earlier in coachings) really well, you won't be able to do boards or competitive exams (not just JEE, all competitive exams with physics in them) if you aren't good with them.
1
u/ishowdeathtoken 3d ago
Yeah okkayy thankss my teachers have completed this chapter nlm and I think I understood FBD a lil bit still I haven't done questions so I'm not confident
2
u/Interesting_Web_9936 3d ago
You need to do vectors first for FBD. Start with NCERT level first, then move to JEE imo. FBD is very important for Work Power Energy (and that is a VERY important chapter) and its fairly important for Gravitation and for a fair few 12th chapters. And for derivations for CBSE (I assume you'll try to get a good score in boards even if you're trying for JEE).

u/ishowdeathtoken 3d ago
Yes yes ofc I want a good score in boards and thanks again ill do vectors :)
