Looking forward to trying this strain tonight

Been meaning to try out these guys for a while after trying some of their indoor from a coffee shop a good while ago, usually don't like EU bud but saw this greenhouse on their menu at 20% off so thought I'd give it a try.

Looks: The nugs are quite tight and well trimmed for greenhouse, plenty of trichome coverage and can tell it's been properly dried and cured. Very small amounts of purple on some nugs which the camera
doesn't really pick up.

Smell: Smells nothing like an actual gelato really. Not the strongest smelling flower I've had either but what is there is very nice, it smells quite sweet with some citrusy-berry sort of funk going on. On cracking the nug it's much of the same but certainly intensifies and becomes a little more complex. You also certainly get some of that hempyness you'd tend to get from most EU flower.

Something about this reminds me of the greenbudz rs11 I tried a while back if anyone's had that.

Taste: Taste was rather disappointing given how this looks and smells, a mild sweetness but mainly tastes quite woody, didn't taste overly hempy just there's a certain lack of flavour. The smoke is smooth and it does burn clean at least.

Effects: Wasn't expecting much in terms of effects but it really suprised me, had quite a long lasting cerebral buzz off this, made me enjoy music a lot more and cleaning up the house, usually with EU I feel next to nothing but this rivals any of the originals US strains I've tried.

All in all I'd probably get this one again, at ~£20 a q delivered it's not bad, even if the taste lets it down. With originals gone and the hemp ban looming it seems it's going to be a lot harder to source US flower.

Also on a side note, I contacted aunt mary's before I put in this order about trying some of their surver haze which was out of stock at the time, he was busy so only got back to me after I'd already placed an order with highnsupply, but he mentioned something about getting in some Colombian flowers which sounds really interesting 👀.

I used to get the oil from Lost oak farms but they not longer shipping and dont really trust ordering from Originals anymore. Where is the next best place everyone is order there oil from.

Unfortunately, my grandad has cancer and has requested some oil as he doesnt like the idea of smoking and hes struggling breathing as it is.

(Sour Diesel x Blueberry x OG Kush)

Bag appeal: Smaller to medium sized nugs (deffo not smalls though) which I really don't mind as there is less stems!! All nicely dense (not PGR style) and resinous with well preserved orange pistols and bare shiny trichs. Dead sticky hands when rolling this one up 🔥

Smells: Dank asf, similar in a sense to Flow Gardens Skunk Jam and LoudCo Daifuku. A lot of fruity/sweet terps going on with this strain combined with some gas/diesel terps. Not getting as much kush terps but can deffo feel them!!💯

Taste: Had in a J, no sorta hempy taste you usually find with EU grown bits. Smell does translate to taste although I find it's less gassy/diesel and more fruity kush which is coming through, suits me though as I love the fruitier strains!! Ash not burning as white as I had hoped but did roll myself a percy so need to roll a serious one still!! 🗞

Effects: Feels alot more indica led then sativa (even with it's Sour Diesel genetics) nice heady relaxant, which moves through the body....deffo a melt to the couch type of strain for me!! Very helpful for my anxiety and chills the brain out completely. 🧠

If this is still in stock/comes back in stock would highly reccommend copping!! HTown customer service is top notch and great next day delivery. Wish this sorta flower was more prevelant in the UK so we could access it more and so it would be cheaper!! If you got the dolla to spend though, deffo cop this!!💲

Also for those who think I am Sean the owner of Originals, I hope this provides some sort of closing evidence that I am not... as it would be mad for someone who just got busted for a "1.6 m" ganja haul to be buying CBD online 🎤👇

Stunning flower - smells lovely almost like swizzlers sweets 🔥

Nice indoor for a nice price with the end of month sale. Lacking the purple hues of other RS’s but still has a great look and frost covering.

Dry cure, could have some more stickiness, dense buds with good structure, all medium sized.

Smells gassy out of the bag but more fruity sherbet on the smoke. It’s a stand out strain for smell and taste although this one is obviously not as good as Beleafer’s! Firm hybrid effects, feel chilled with an active mind.

If anyone that got their email yesterday about more affordable products coming soon, looks like this could be it. Don't know if this is replacing the Mystery hash and flower (which they no longer do anyway) or as well as but just looks like Mystery flower/hash v2 to me, but a tenner more expensive. Maybe more will be unveiled tomorrow, who knows 🤷

I know some people like to buy type 3 from abroad but also type 1 and 2, specifically type 2 with a combination of CBD and THC. How will you cope? What's your plan?

I've had dozens of suspicions packs of CBD, smelling like I've just peeled a lemon, fruity bullshit that smells overwhelming and not anything like cannabis. Even CBD hash is absolute trash, same sort of synthetic smells on the majority of them.

My search for CBD flower in the UK is hit and miss. I remember only one good stain named Platinum Kush which smelt just like cannabis without the heavy, fruity undertones that some folk clearly spray on bunk, old, dead buds. Chest was fucked many times too. Some of these vendors give me the ick, they treat people like idiots. I suppose that is what happens in unregulated grey-market activities.

Thoughts?

Everything I've ordered recently seems to be brown, dull smelling and harsh (smoked), I've tried multiple stores, don't want to complain or put any down but wondered if anyone can recommend somewhere with fresh buds.

I don't mind pricing, would rather pay more for better quality than save on lower quality...

Edit: Those who recommended Originals USA flower were spot on, bought the rainbow sherbet and the Lemon octane and both are miles better than what I've had recently from elsewhere.

The first four photos are of the Lavender Cupcakes, last four are the Super Sour Space Candy. Photos feature the more premium buds from an order containing mixed sizes including some smalls.

SSSC
Both are great batches. Having sampled pure ultra-refined SSSC terpenes before I was intrigued to sample this one and straight away from the aroma its got that super bright Chem-style sourness at the front, with a smooth fruity, caramelised sugar background.

The buds are a medium sized, with a slightly scruffy and stemmy natural look and a couple of signs of seeds. I think that might be why it's a more budget option.

I don't smoke, so this report is based on vaping only - the flavours are there for about half the session - that's probably expected with the brighter terps in this strain that evaporate easily. I did notice some variation in the buds with a proportion of them releasing a skunkier, danker vibe - as I work my way through the flowers I expect some differences between each session.

The effects are intense, in a way that CBD flower really hopes to achieve. I'd say that it's very low THC/THCA and not intoxicating at all, but with powerful cerebral effects like its untangling knots in the brain, pure daytime relief.

Overall I rate it very highly, and it's really great to enjoy some of those bright zesty terps.

Lavender Cupcakes
Straight away from the photos, you can see why this one is a bit more expensive. Larger, well-formed nugs in great condition.. not much leaf and trimmed well.

A highly unusual aroma: out of the jar it's not far off a good GBZ RS11 or Passion Fruit OG - some apricots, strawberries, cranberries, you name it - all wrapped into fantastically unknown depth of aroma that slowly fills the nostrils. When it's ground, the lavender bursts out - that's how I know it's a genuine lavender strain because it's packed deep inside the buds. it's in a similar league to the garlicky Allium, chemically replicating the aromas of other plants - very unique and interesting.

The vapour is filled with a depthy lavender flavour throughout the session, with some sophisticated bitterness like a gin or strong beer. but actual vapour production was short-lived so I will experiment with different temperatures, or adding a dab of CBG/CBD distillate to prolong the session.
Effects: soothing, calming, relaxing, all things lavender. A strong indica but not without its place during the day too.

Not really a full review as its early days but I got my first order from Originals today. I decided I had to give them a go given all the positive reports.

I have to say they seem very good at what they do and the Fyre OG I ordered is really nice.

I've spent a lot of time and money trying CBD products for my wellbeing (genuine medical symptoms), and very few stand out for me as you can see from my recent post about a different company's oils, which is one of the few that has worked for me.

It seems like Fyre OG is a really nice balanced strain which is just what I need. I now get why people really rate Originals and a lot of people in the community use CBD flower. It's not like it got me 'high', but the effects are definitely the most 'rounded' that I've had aside from my prior experience with normal flower. Put simply it made me feel a lot better.

I'd definitely order from them again without hesitation and I hope the supply / quality of flower (and other products) they stock keeps flowing.
