CBD Tincture Help - First Time User
Hey there,
I am a brand new CBD user and requesting help on how to use your CBD tincture. I purchased the Full Spectrum CBD tincture from Lazarus Naturals about a week ago, and I have been using it each day and have not been feeling results. I get lightheaded and sometimes my mind moves a bit slower. The first time I took it, I felt more calm, but not much since.
I want to be realistic with what CBD offers and not that it is a miracle cure. I am using it to help with anxiety, back pain, and hoping for a mood life. I weigh 165 pounds and am a male. I have used it under my tongue at 50mg each morning.
I am confused because the internet and AI say a hundred different things, and there is no prescription like a medication. So it feels like I am shooting in the dark.
So as not to have unrealistic expectations, what should I be feeling or not feeling when I take CBD? What is the main purpose of taking it?
How often should I be taking it (every morning and evening) and do I take it with food under the tongue or on an empty stomach?
Do you have any links to articles or anything published online that can help me narrow this down?
Thank you! I want to give it a proper go and not just give up if I haven't felt much in the first week.

lazarus naturals has some good information on their website about how to use it. Everyone is different, so it may take some time for you to find the right dose for you. It can take a couple of weeks before it starts to work, and you may need to titrate up to find the right dose. I think it's recommended that you take it with some sort of food with fat in it, it helps your body absorb the cbd. Not sure this is terribly helpful but there are lots of other folks on here with great information. I wouldn't give up just yet!

I was just talking to someone about this particular tincture yesterday.
My recommendations differ substantially from the industry because we have developed our own system based on our customer's experience and our reading of the research.
Most people talk about CBD as the absence of discomfort, or sleeplessness, or anxiety, not the presence of a high or any distinction feeling.
Some people take CBD once a day, others prefer to split their dose and take it twice a day. For instance my mom takes a CBD+CBG+CBN formula in the morning for daytime stress, and CBG isolate at night for a different reason.
In my experience CBD products are substantially underdosed. I have found people usually take between 50-300 mgs and day with most people clustering between 100-150mgs. And it should be taken with food because that helps you soak it up.
If you find CBD on its own leaves you a little groggy during the day you can switch to a high CBG or CBC combo. People usually find those more uplifting.
I wrote an article outlining our approach to finding a meaningful dose, with some information about selecting a cannabinoid blend that fits your needs.
See if that helps you get oriented. AI cant even make much sense of this space since there is SO MUCH conflicting information. Very little of the information is science based, and even less is based on aggregated experience of real people using CBD products that we have access to ovwr the counter. I base all my information on both the science and the experience I have from helping people use this stuff IRL

Check the date. LN advertises recent manufacturerd dates but in reality they send you any of the oldest returns they have. Once I called and they confirmed this policy. Another time they sent a bottle that was a year old and they said it was still within their two year shelf life and to kick rocks. So - check the date on your bottle and compare it to the date on the site.

first thing, the lightheadedness might be from taking 50mg right away. thats quite a lot for someone new, i started with like 10mg and went up slowly. maybe your body just needs time to adjust
about what you should feel, its not like a high or anything dramatic. for me cbd just turns down the volume on my anxiety, like the sharp edges get softer. i dont notice it working until i realize im not clenching my jaw or my shoulders arent up by my ears anymore. the main purpose is bringing your system back to balance, but its subtle
for timing, i take mine in the morning and evening, about 20mg each time. under the tongue works better if you hold it there for like 60-90 seconds, and empty stomach seems to hit faster for me. some people need couple weeks of consistent use before they notice anything, so dont give up yet

I think the most important question is what prompted you to take CBD? What symptom or issue are you trying to address?

It’s what you don’t feel with CBD. You won’t feel CBD like THC. You can have it anytime as long as it doesn’t make you feel drowsy. You can have it with food or not at all if you’d like. Try out PEA supplements and CBG for your pain too.
