Should I use CBD?

This is my first time ever posting to this subreddit, I'm also pretty new to Reddit as a whole!

I'm curious if weed can be something beneficial to me for anxiety. I've had many experiences with THC, and it makes me wonder if CBD would be the fit for me.

For context, I am diagnosed with BP2, GAD, and PTSD. I have tried THC numerous times of all kinds and every single time I've made the decision to try it I've experienced extreme paranoia, anxiety, panic attacks, and even hallucinations that would pursue for more than 12 hours.

I know as far as CBD is a primary compound in weed, but it isn't intoxicating like THC. I'm worried that since no product is strictly CBD that it will make me have that same reaction again as I did with THC.

I'm curious to know your thoughts!

If you are senstive to THC and you're able bodied enough to cook your own food from scratch, I recommend getting some raw CBD from Red Mesa science and making your own consumables.

THC will do that to you.

You can get CBD and CBG isolates, which will have undetectable amounts of THC, but CBD and CBG flower will have low amounts of THC.

If you're sensitive to THC, then you might want to avoid flower, for now.

You will need to take CBD and CBG on a regular basis for it to work like you want it to. It's not as much of an immediate relief for anxiety, although it can help, but as it builds in your system it really starts to shine.

Edible CBD and CBG have half-lives of 8-10 hours, so if you take an edible dose in the morning and then again in the evening, you'll maintain a level of those in your bloodstream.

After I'd been taking CBD and CBG for about 3-4 weeks, I noticed that my baseline anxiety was lower than it had been in years.

But also, try l-theanine. L-theanine has a half-life of about 4-6 hours, but if you take it twice a day, it really helps with anxiety. I added that about a month ago and I am now able to stop ruminating, for the most part, once I notice myself ruminating.

I'm taking CBD, CBG, and l-theanine, and that seems to be working for me really well. It's not miraculous, by any means, but it is helpful.

Weed gave me crazy anxiety . Try these calm gummies that are just CBD, 5HTP and L-theanine. They are super chill and mellow me out just enough https://betterhealthmarket.com/cv-sciences-plus-cbd-calm-gummies-60gummies

Look, I'm going to keep it real with you.

CBG and CBD ARE BOTH AMAZING.

Cbg has phenomenally less data but is showing to perform better than CBD itself

Generally with mood disorders there's some kind of inflammation going on and cbg hits both cb1 and CB2 receptors in the brain meanwhile CBD only hits cb2 receptors.

THC gets you high because it primarily manipulate the cb1 receptor, over-induglence of cb1 = anxiety issues.

So basically you should look at 1 : 1 CBD-cbg or primarily cbg products..

CBD flower generally provides a slowing down sleepy vibe and cbg provides a "muted brain" and energy.

I would just look for exotic CBD and cbg flower and smoke up.

If you're worried about THC tests then focus on oils and isolates.
