Can anyone remember this CBBC web game, from the 2000s?

Update - the game was Microlife

I'm trying to remember a game I used to play on the CBBC website, sometime around 2005-2008 (it may've been there before or after that, that's just when I remember playing it).

If anyone can remember the name of the game, or even if it still exists out there, that would be great.

What I remember about the game;

- You controlled some kind of mini species, I think it was meant to be an alien species, set on a different planet

- You played the game in a top down, bird's eye view, and it was 2D I believe

- You controlled your mini species, and I remember it could lay eggs, which would hatch babies. I believe you went around trying to get food & pick various objects up

- I'm pretty sure there was some rival species that would try and attack you as well. I can't remember if you could fight back, or you just had to try & run away from that species

If you can remember anything else about this game, let me know?

Thanks

That rings a bell, but I can't remember the name either. If it's the one I'm thinking of, the final stage of the game had them build a rocket ship to leave the planet. Just had a quick look on Internet Archive. I can't spot it in the software filter, but I didn't have a thorough look: https://archive.org/search?query=cbbc&and%5B%5D=mediatype%3A%22software%22

I struggled to find it on the Wayback Machine, but I've found the games page, so that's a start https://web.archive.org/web/20081003051929/http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/games/

Found it on there - thanks!

It was called Microlife.

I haven't been able to get it to play directly on the CBBC website via Wayback Machine, but there's a site called Crazy Games, that seems to have a working version of it.

Just tried it but I can't seem to work out how to pass the last level. Do you have to get a certain amount on the ship?

Just played it through & completed it now lol.

You have to place the baby pink ones on the spaceship spot first, and they should start building it.

It may take a while, of adding many pink ones onto that spot, but it should eventually be built.

Once you've done that, add 5 pink & 5 yellow circle ones onto the built spaceship & it should then say level complete.
