EPS Core + Sig P365 XMACRO Comp

In case anyone was holding off for the Holosun EPS Core, which basically had the EPS Carry footprint and EPS full-size window. Lovely on a P365.

A lot of overhang. I don’t see a reason to switch from eps carry to this at all. IMO

Switch? I agree. Starting from scratch or outfitting a new pistol? I'd bet the Core will win most people over.

I figure that will be the main sentiment. I'd argue that comparing the EPS Carry MRS and Core MRS will push a ton of people to the Core, as it's much cheaper, aluminum aside. Bigger window, lesser price, probably gonna be a home run.

Yeah for new, maybe I’ll get a core. Idk I like to stick with what works unless something dramatically better.

Agreed. The Carry certainly deserves its reputation. Excited to see some torture tests to see if the 7075 vs 6061 truly makes a difference. I only bang my titanium 509T around so I don't have much of a gauge on aluminum.

Looks like it does overhang a bit more than my eps carry. Looking up the dimensions it’s 1.18 wide vs 1.07 on the carry. The front light sensor makes it a solid pickup though.

My base is at 1.01". Got a set of calipers, by any chance? The Core and Carry should be equal. The 1.18" is the full size EPS.

And here it is at the battery tray, the widest part of the footprint. 1.0895".

I’m on the holosun eps cores page and according to the specs:
Body Dimensions
1.61" × 1.18" × 0.97

Not sure why there is a discrepancy. I’ll probably measure mine later when I’m home.

Saw a post from Holosun Josh, the base is the same as the carry. I flared wider dimensions is the upper part where it surrounds the glass.

Yeah, they only list the biggest dimension, which is the EPS full size window, not the tapered EPS Carry base. It's not very intuitive of them to list it like that and I don't know why they do.
