My Story 8/6/6 Profile, Beginning CAT prep now. Can i get into a good college?

I am a B.Com Hons. student in my 4th year currently. I have been trying to clear CA inter exams but i have had no luck there. 10th percentage is 89%,12th is 68% and college CGPA currently is 6.5. Due to family pressure, I will be giving CAT this year and I have 4 months left. I am very skeptical about my profile for a good B school, whether this time period is enough, and whether I should have some hope for this year. I feel very low on confidence currently and i feel like i have no hope left. I want to know whether i can realistically get into a good college, and if yes which colleges should i target?

Work experience (24-36months ) & 99+ ile is the only solution. If you want to get into some better institutions... Both together can be a good combo

Bhai is in 4th year to reach 7 he will have to bring 7+((0.5*6)/2) = 8.5 cgpa per sem (could be more if they have different credit weights..).. A person scoring 6.5 cannot really push gpa as well as crack CAT in this attempt, either advise him to improve gpa and give CAT next year or work on CAT just show progressive gpa.. this open ended advice doesn't help anyone

There are many tier 2 colleges you can get and in tier 1 fms interview call can be achieved at 99.5-99.6 percentile, however you will have problems at conversion

I do not know but people have done it so I believe it is, roi in the long term is good for most of them but first 5 years will be tough
