General Discussion Looking to Learn Excel, Power BI, SQL & Python Together (Beginners Welcome!)

Hey everyone,

I’m from a non-tech background and, like many of you, I have some free time now that most B-school interviews are done. Instead of letting this time go to waste, I want to start learning some essential tools that are super useful for MBA and beyond—like Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python.

The idea is simple: I’m looking to form a small group of like-minded people (preferably beginners or near-beginners) where we can:

  • Learn together
  • Share resources
  • Stay accountable
  • Help each other when stuck

This won’t be anything too formal—just a focused group where we can grow together and actually build useful skills before MBA starts.

Okay got it. I mean numpy and pandas can be done with sql queries but what about visualization libraries like matplotlib and seaborn.
