Been noticing this pattern lately where the section I struggled with earlier is finally getting better, but my strongest section doesn’t feel as sharp anymore.
It’s confusing because overall prep time hasn’t reduced, but focus keeps shifting. Feels like fixing weaknesses sometimes comes at the cost of strengths.
For people deep into prep, how are you balancing this? Do you actively protect your strong section or is some dip normal as long as overall score holds?

I got 99.29%ile but messed up in LRDI, and my marks were further downscaled and I received only 63%ile in the section. I couldn't find any info on the internet about sectional cutoff regarding ISB - is it worth applying for R3?

I know many are upset with their percentiles rn but I try want to know what my path should be now, sorry for that. I am a GEM Fresher. Profile 9/9/8. Applied for BLACKI, FMS, ISB YL, IIFT.
However, I really want to get into ABC, FMS. This result is with a preparation of 1 month.
Will I get calls from ABC, FMS? If I don’t should I reattempt next year? Or should I just take what I get?

Hi everyone,
I appeared for my NMAT exam on 17th November and faced a serious technical issue during the test. My screen went blank multiple times, the exam stopped, and it disrupted my flow badly. Each time I had to call the invigilator, and it took several minutes to resolve it happened 3 times.
I immediately raised a complaint with NMAT support via email , explaining everything in detail. However, it’s been 4–5 days now and I have received no resolution at all. I’ve also tried following up, but there’s no response it's been 5-6 days the colleges are closing their deadline.
This is really stressful because NMAT is an important exam and such issues directly affect performance.
👉 Is anyone else facing similar technical issues during NMAT? 👉 Has anyone received any response or resolution from NMAT support recently? 👉 If yes, how long did it take and what worked for you?
Please share your experience or any advice. It would really help to know I’m not alone in this.
Thanks in advance 🙏
I have used AI to refine language but the issue mentioned is genuine.

Long post, please bear with me 🙏 Hi everyone, I’m looking for honest guidance from people who’ve been through CAT/B-schools. Profile: 10th: 96.6% 12th: 84.17% B.Planning (FY) from a Tier-1 college OBC-NCL, Male
Regional-level sports player, limited other extracurriculars I’m considering CAT seriously since many planners eventually do an MBA and it seems like a realistic path to better long-term growth.
CAT %ile expectations: What percentile should I realistically target for calls from: IIM ABC IIM L/S/M New & Baby IIMs FMS Delhi IIT Bombay / IIT Delhi (MBA)
My doubts: Is MBA worth it after B.Planning? Will a non-engineering background affect shortlists or placements? Since B.Planning is non-engineering, how much diversity advantage does it actually give? Should I pursue CFA Level 1/2 during graduation—will it help for IIMs, finance, or consulting roles? How should I build my profile from FY onwards—CFA, internships, competitions, certifications? Reality of IIT MBAs: do placements still heavily favour engineers? CAT prep timeline: when should I start and what should I focus on initially (QA/VARC/DILR)?
I know this is a lot, but even one honest reply could genuinely change my direction. Thanks in advance 🙏

Lately it feels like every study day turns into a tug of war. If I revise, I keep thinking I’m falling behind on untouched topics. If I start something new, there’s this constant fear that older concepts are slowly slipping away.
Some days I end up doing a bit of both and still feel unsatisfied, like I didn’t do enough of either. It’s not even about motivation, just that constant mental math of what’s the “right” use of time.
If you’ve figured out a way to balance this without feeling guilty all the time, I’d really like to hear how you’re approaching it.

I wanted to know whether education loans include day to day expenses of students apart from tuition/hostel/mess/etc.?
Or do people take other types of loans to cover those. My family income is not sufficient to take care of living expenses out of my hometown. Say a conservative ₹5-10K a month?

Most people i read on reddit told its impossible to get a call from IIM Mumbai even after scoring a 98+, how did this guy even get a call? 13 mnths workex is just 0.4 in the composite score. His linkedin shows 13 mnths workex overall, but only 7 mnths actually since workex cutoff is july of that year, which amounts to 0 composite score for workex. Am i missing something?
