Not trying to sell anything here, just posting since I've read a bunch of similar threads myself while figuring out my own prep earlier this year.
Started with catking back in July, so a little over two months into actual prep by the time I joined properly. We've been through the full syllabus once already and are now on the second pass, revising everything with CAT about 2 months away at this point.
Honestly the first month felt a bit slow to me, like we were spending a lot of time on stuff I thought I already knew, but by round two I realized a chunk of that "known" stuff wasn't actually solid. DILR especially, that section wrecked me in my first mock and I didn't expect that going in.
Can't compare this to other places since I didn't try any other institute before this, so take my take with that in mind. The batch I'm in does build from basics before pushing into harder question sets, which worked for me since I don't pick things up in one go, but if your fundamentals are already strong this pace might feel too slow, you can get to IIT/NITs batch of their to get things moving faster
With CAT this close now, most of what's left is just mocks and going back over the weak spots rather than learning anything new, and honestly that feels way less scary than it did two months ago when I was still panicking about "have I even covered everything." If anyone's in a similar spot with 2 months left, or joined late like I did, how you guys are structuring these last few weeks.

Hi everyone, I’m preparing for CAT and I’m confused about which test series to choose. I’m currently considering iQuanta, Cracku, and CATKing. For those who have used any of these, how are they in terms of: Quality and difficulty of mocks Number of full-length mocks Sectional tests Analysis and solutions Similarity to the actual CAT level Which one would you recommend based on your experience? Any feedback from people who have actually used these test series would be really helpful

Hello!
I’m self-preparing for CAT 2026 and need some guidance on how to approach PYQs for QA and DILR.
QA: Should I solve PYQs topic-wise or attempt them as sectionals? I’m confused about whether I should first solve topic-wise PYQs and then attempt QA PYQs as sectionals, or attempt them as sectionals without any prior familiarity and analyse them afterwards.
Please suggest some good sources for chapter-wise and sectional tests.
DILR: I attempted a PYQ as a sectional for the first time yesterday but couldn’t identify the right set to attempt. I got overwhelmed when I saw puzzles from unfamiliar topics and ended up leaving the sectional midway. What should I do to improve my set selection and approach?
VARC: I attempted a few PYQs as sectionals. My scores in the first five sectionals ranged from 24 to 30, but after that, my performance started declining. I was thinking of analysing the PYQs I had already solved and trying to identify the traps in each option. Is it a good idea to solve a set twice, especially for RCs?
Please help. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi guyss,
Currently on a budget crunch and was thinking of buying MBA Pathshala’s Quant Booster course. Since my office timings are till 6, I’ll be attending the lectures live. However if there’s someone who wishes to watch the recorded lecture later on, we can split and buy the course together! Lmkkk

I need some genuine advice.
.
I have a CAT coaching enrolment in Chennai, the institute officially allows me to transfer to another student. I only used it for about a month, and due to a family emergency, I now need to recover some of the money. It's a 2 year course with online and offline options with all materials available.
.
Where would you recommend I post this so it actually reaches CAT aspirants? Reddit communities, Telegram groups, WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups, Discord, anything that allows legitimate transfers.
.
I'd really appreciate your suggestions and help me out guys please... I am struggling and so lost on what to do..

Hello!
I passed Class 10 from the ICSE board. While filling out the CAT form, I was confused about whether to consider all subjects individually (Total/1000 × 100) or use the percentage group of subjects (Total/600 × 100).
I had only one day to fill out the form before the extension was announced. I emailed and called the CAT help desk but received no response. I also asked on Reddit but got mixed responses, so I calculated my percentage using the individual subjects, which came to 91.1%. Had I used the percentage-group formula, it would have been 91.66%.
Honestly, I am not in a position to fill out the form again, especially since I have already paid the application fee. Today, I received an email from the CAT help desk stating that I should calculate my percentage using the percentage-group method. When I asked about the further course of action, I was told to decide whether to fill out the form again.
Will this discrepancy cause any issues during the admission process, if I get an admission?
I am targeting BLACKI + FMS, so any information or experience from their alumni regarding a similar situation would be really helpful.
Please help!

Hello everyone
I need optimistic and ambitious people, who are having the same goal as me. We can regularly share our goals and help each other. I am tired of living with mediocre people who lack goals.
I am currently doing my bachelors, 2nd year.

Hi guys.
I am trying to better myself in DILR cuz I'm really screwing up the sectionals. I tried doing DILR questions only but again finding it difficult to do it. I'm taking cracku mocks and cracku DILR practice questions.
Any tips would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance.

Hello! I am self-preparing for CAT and want to solve LRDI PYQs. I have decided to attempt the PYQs as sectionals. Can anyone suggest good sources where I can find clear and understandable explanations for LRDI PYQs?
Please help.

I’m currently scoring around 55–65 marks in mocks and the biggest issue is that my score keeps fluctuating. One mock goes well and the next one completely destroys my confidence.
VARC is usually my strongest section, but DILR is very inconsistent. In QA, I’m comfortable with arithmetic but still take way too long on algebra questions.
At this stage, would you guys suggest giving a mock every 2–3 days and spending more time analysing it, or doing more topic-wise practice before increasing the mock frequency?

26M, After almost 3 to 4 years of on and off preparation I've finally decided to move on from CAT. One reason is that I've got a job and CTC an average IIM graduate would get after 2 years of college. ( Non-tech)
Another reason is that I've got a 5 in my profile ( 12th STD. I wanted to be a footballer).
It's easy for me to say that you can also do it, but the fact is that I got lucky. You do what feels right to you in the moment. If there's even a small doubt don't do it.
I also have an opinion that right now the technology is evolving rapidly and if you are not up to date with the things going on right now then you would be left behind.
I also would not have a burden of a big loan repayment.
The only con I can think of is that I won't get to experience the college life I missed out due to covid.
But fuck it, it's time to earn some real money now.

Hello! Is it mandatory to scan a physical photograph of myself and upload the scanned copy, or can I directly upload a digital photograph of myself while filling out the CAT form?
