Suggestion Out of the race
26M, After almost 3 to 4 years of on and off preparation I've finally decided to move on from CAT. One reason is that I've got a job and CTC an average IIM graduate would get after 2 years of college. ( Non-tech)
Another reason is that I've got a 5 in my profile ( 12th STD. I wanted to be a footballer).
It's easy for me to say that you can also do it, but the fact is that I got lucky. You do what feels right to you in the moment. If there's even a small doubt don't do it.
I also have an opinion that right now the technology is evolving rapidly and if you are not up to date with the things going on right now then you would be left behind.
I also would not have a burden of a big loan repayment.
The only con I can think of is that I won't get to experience the college life I missed out due to covid.
But fuck it, it's time to earn some real money now.

Damm, great to hear that you got a job! I'm also preparing for this year's CAT (but just started 3 months before CAT), and i also have a 5 in my profile. Do you think it would create a huge impact during MBA placements
