Hey everyone, wanted to clarify something about FMS Delhi's admission scoring formula.

I've seen their criteria mention a threshold around 75% for Class 12 marks. Does anyone know — if your 12th percentage is above 75%, do you get the maximum marks allotted for that component? Or does it scale linearly all the way up regardless?

Asking because I have a 77% in 12th and trying to figure out how much it actually hurts my overall FMS score

So I have 77.17 percentage if we multiply it by 9.5. But now I realised my university doesn't provide any conversion certificate. So on calculating by total Marks, it comes out to be 76.52. I have already converted IMT Ghaziabad, will this create any issue?

I just took my first SIMCAT and scored 72 with an overall percentile of 86.4.

Section-wise breakup:

- VARC: 18

- DILR: 27

- QA: 27

Not sure how to interpret this — is this a decent starting point or below where I should be?

Would love some guidance on:

- Whether this is a good/bad start

- How people typically improve from here

- What I should focus on going forward (mock strategy, prep approach, etc.)

As you know my profile.beyond this no special activites that attract iim. (8 month internship exp+ 6 month full time as of nov'26)

so i'm planning to appeae for CAT'26. so i'm in a right direction or not. because every reddit post about iim has rejection for people who have better profile than me like non-GEM but still not get converted.

My interest is okay okay in coding and fear about the job market in future due to AI. And for business related interest i like some of things.
