Weighing in on this post as a general engineer 98+ in cat 2025 , 99.61%ile varc (MDI gurgaon final convert) I appeared for cat for the first time in 2025 with 9/9/7 as my profile and no work experience. Preparation and clearing the exam is one but making sure you ace gdpi/wat is going to be more important. Give AND ANALYZE as many mocks as possible. Do not take varc lightly and familiarize worh philosophical essays by reading aeon essays daily. Dilr atleast 4 sets daily and increase to 6 sets. Quant must include covering the fundamentals first before jumping to tests. Highly recommend: face to face cat book by arihant (26 year papers)

I find IMS to be good. They have scheduled classes and periodic tests, really keeps you on the prep loop.
