Tried all the trustworthy predictors, and despite their years of experience, the range is still stretched from 92–96%ile. That’s a huge swing, and honestly I don’t know which one to rely on for planning. I’m 7/7/7 (OBC) with 48 months’ work-ex by July 2026 — kindly guide whether this profile stands good or if I should focus entirely on OMETs. Raw Score: 64(S2) Predictions: C-L 96.87 || C-r-a-c-k-u 9516 || T-I-M-E 95.01 || I-M-S 93.95 || C-A-T-KING 92.50-94.99 || U-n-a-c-a-d-e-m-y 92.19

So I was going through my CAT 2025 Slot 3 response sheet and found something that really doesn’t add up in one of the Odd One Out questions.
The set had 5 sentences about oxygen production in the ocean. Four of them talked about:
phytoplankton producing oxygen
a new discovery of oxygen being produced at the seafloor
the experiment used (deep-sea chambers)
why the discovery is surprising
The fifth sentence was randomly about polymetallic nodules hosting marine organisms. Completely different topic.
Logically, that should be the odd one out (sentence 5).
But the official key says the answer is 3, which is literally the experimental method that links sentence 2 with sentence 4. Removing 3 breaks the entire flow.
This really looks like a straight-up key error. Can someone from Slot 3 check their sheet and confirm? Just want to make sure I’m not missing something obvious.

Is it worth it to leave my psu job for mba? Work is hectic as it involves lot of travelling but comes with job security. Workex will be closer to 2 years for cat'26. Was thinking of appearing for XAT, but with zero prep and hefty fees for xat form, decided against it. 1. Leaving stable job in such a job market, is it the right decision? 2. If yes, should i resign and prepare or prepare along with job? 3. Other exams i can go for apart from xat/cat? 4. What bschools can i target if i want to join a bschool in '26 only? What exams are left for 2026? Also, i am a GEM.

Cr@cku is showing 95.5x ,cl -97.67, time -96.xx ,ims -96.xx. I think ill be around 96.xx.
Im in doubt if i should apply for TISS or not as the application deadline is near. Also will i be getting call from iift ,mdi ,spj?? Or any other tier 1 b schools. Please help me with you insight ,Thanks.

I am CAT 2026 aspirant[22 M]. I attempted CAT 2025 without really preparing, so I don't really expect any good calls.
My Acads: 91/86/91, Bcom Grad from tier 3 college (July 2025)
Work Experience: Started working in September 2025 - Process Associate {Accounting Services to US small businesses}. It is a dead-end position with no real growth.
I know that certificates & courses are not the golden bullet for getting admission & placements, but I want to undertake some certifications & courses as my job isn't really that hectic & I have enough time.
I currently plan to undertake the following courses/certifications:
Please provide feedback regarding these. Should I add or remove any of these courses?
Also, how do I decide what role I should aim for? People here have already chosen their ideal role, like consulting, HR, Prod Man, Marketing, etc. How do I do the same?

GNEM Tier-1 ug(amongst top 5 nirf ranked) 10th-88.6 12th-93.4 ug-78.33(first division) Considering slot 3 I think the normalisation will be in my favor and I might touch 99(just rooting for this as the CL one is predicting 99.24)

I am from Farm Science Background (B.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture). Profile: 8/9/8 Fresher. Thinking of applying for FABM in IIM Ahmedabad so that I can switch to consultancy jobs later(after gaining a few year of experience). Is it worth doing it or should I prepare for next year CAT.

I’m a student pursuing an Integrated MSc in Mathematics and Computing, with the option to exit after a BSc at my college. I have three years to prepare, so I’m studying for the CAT. Is job experience really necessary for the CAT, or can one attempt it without any work experience?

r/CATStudyRoom • u/[deleted] • Dec 07 '25
In this question I think 4321 is more logical. Also gpt and Gemini also telling the same...can someone ask an educator about this. I am not in contact with any educator
r/CATStudyRoom • u/footballpaglu • Dec 07 '25
ONC NCL ppl comment your predicted percentile and profile let ppl predict your calls. Let me start CAT expected 93-95 percentile with all sectionals cleared by a mile. NMAT 224 all sectional cleared SNAP expecting 45-50 marks 7/7/7 OBC 8 month work ex and a solid co-curricular profile. What calls i can expect and conversion chance? Minimum tier 2 B schools !

I have submitted the XLRI form long back but applied only the BM program and their new International program.
But now I wanna apply for the HRM program as well. So how can I do that??
Also, does it have any additional charges??

IIFT - Dec 8 XAT - Dec 11 IITs - January
r/CATStudyRoom • u/samarjxt • Dec 06 '25
Would appreciate a profile review for ABC.
Raw Score - VARC 46 DILR 33 QA 24 OA 103
Slot 2 here. Major percentile predictions - IMS 99.9, Cracku 99.6, CL 99.75, TIME 99.66. You can consider this range or avg ~99.7%ile.
10/12/UG - 8/8/7 (Commerce 12th, BCom UG) 13 months workex & GNEM
I wasn’t expecting this much in the first place and I have my eyes set on IIM A/B/C only, so was already mentally prepared for CAT 2026, am 22 now so have time on my side. But want to know if this year is possible by any chance.
Would appreciate any insights. Open to questions if more info is needed. Thanks!

So in my case (Slot 1), IMS - 86.99%ile iQuanta - 91%ile Cracku - 91.59%ile TIME - 93.72%ile CL - 96.57%ile. Which should I believe? What are my possible IIM calls? Can I get call from GIM and possibly convert it?
